I've been working in the events industry for about 15 years. In that time, my experience with Mary Ann and the staff at the InterContinental is one of the shining examples of excellence in venue support/delivery. I have to tell you that Mary Ann was an absolute star! Additionally, the AV Team is fantastic as is the entire banquet staff - so responsive and so intent on ensuring that the event is brought to fruition with the level of excellence I required. You asked about any "negatives". I'm hard pressed to provide you any.
I would recommend this venue and this team time and again!
